M-Net: Finger a user

Fingering a user is not as sick and twisted as it sounds! "finger" is a very old unix program that allows unix users to retrieve information about other unix users. You can even finger the webmaster!

Hi, I'm John Perry (jep). I've been on M-Net since February 1986.
I was formerly a cfadm, and then root, on M-Net, and have served
as treasurer and vice president on the Board of Directors.

My interests are Civil War history, Detroit Tigers baseball, medieval
English history, Arthurian legend, science fiction & fantasy,
Michigan State basketball and football, and for computers, Windows
and Unix. And, of course, M-Net. I am an assistant scoutmaster for
Boy Scout troop 632 in Tecumseh, MI.

I work as a software engineer for IBM.

My son John III is a nursing student at Wayne State University.
